ABOUT JENNA

BCs, EEBW, NKTE

Jenna has spent most of her life alongside and in admiration of both horse and dog. She has a well rounded equine background, with experience working with horses in all disciplines and levels of competition. On the canine front, Jenna has worked with everything from agility and working dogs to senior house pets and puppies.

Jenna was a certified EMR, has a bachelors degree in Communications and a diploma in Broadcast News, but emergency response and the corporate world just weren't this country girl's cup of tea. After a lot of soul searching, Jenna decided to take the Equinology Equine Body Worker program to finally be able to turn her real passion into a career. In 2022 she decided to take her love to helping animals one step further and add the Caninology Canine Body Worker certification to her toolbelt.

"I've always been interested in helping others, but it took some time for me to realize it wasn't necessarily just people I wanted to be helping. I'm thrilled to now be able to give back to these incredible animals who have given so much to me throughout my life. This is something that actually makes me want to get up in the morning and continue my education; learning from the best in the business."

Initial evaluation

Full history, static and dynamic evaluation to establish a baseline and determine specific needs.

bodywork session

A variety of soft tissue techniques curated to each animal based on evaluation to leave them feeling their best.

Customized wellness plan

Follow up recommendations with other team members, exercise recommendations and take home massage and stretch recommendations to extend the benefits of our session.

Initial Bodywork Session

First time clients will go through an initial evaluation to determine a baseline and create a wellness plan. This includes a full bodywork session. Please note: Initial evaluations should not be booked within 7 days of competition or performance and must be done before a bodywork session or performance session.

BODYWORK SESSION

For returning clients who have already gone through an initial evaluation session and are looking for the benefits of a full bodywork session. All modalities performed by Equiworx included in price. Session based on horse's individual needs. Please note: Clients must have completed an initial evaluation session prior to booking a bodywork session.

5 SESSION PACKAGE

For returning clients looking to receive a discount on bodywork sessions. Know you're going to be using Equiworx throughout the season? Save with a prepaid package! Five sessions for the price of four.

​*Sessions must be booked and paid for upfront. Package is non-refundable and must be used within one year of payment date on the same horse. 5 Session Package does not include initial evaluation which must be completed prior to.

PRE-PERFORMANCE SESSION

For the animal athlete during a performance event. Meant to activate and prepare muscles pre-performance based on assessment of muscle function. All appropriate modalities included. MUST HAVE GONE THROUGH INITIAL ASSESSMENT PRIOR TO BOOKING. (Group and trainer rates available. Must be in compliance with all association rules and regulations.)

POST-PERFORMANCE SESSION

For the animal athlete during a performance event. Meant for after cool down to flush toxin build up and decrease post performance soreness using mostly effleurage strokes. All appropriate modalities included.MUST HAVE GONE THROUGH INITAL ASSESSMENT PRIOR TO BOOKING. (Group and trainer rates available. Must be in compliance with all association rules and regulations.)
